Research Requests

Picton Heritage & Whaling Museum takes pleasure in sharing its treasures of information with the local and wider community. For a base research request fee of $25.00 we are able to undertake half an hour of research for you. Many locals come searching for family histories from Picton and the Sounds, archived documents and manuscripts, oral histories and details of whaling.

Anyone is welcome to come use the museum's research room and can request to print documents or photographs or have digital versions of any resource they require. There are costs associated with this.
